Terms and Conditions

Balance of account to be paid on arrival, if payment is to be
made by cheque it should be presented at least 14 days prior to
arrival to allow for bank clearance.

In the event of any cancellation or curtailment, should the accommodation not be re-let the person who booked the holiday will be liable to pay the total cost as per reservation, less an allowance for the food and service. Deposits are not refundable but will be deductable from any claim for compensation arising out of any cancellation or curtailment of the contract. 

If the deposit has been made using a credit card authorised account number, then any payment due, owing to cancellation or damage will also be made on the same account by the proprietor.

The propietors reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is any part to that contract cause any detriment to the well being and comfort of other guests. 

When booking your holiday you are entering into a legally binding contract and it is recommended that you take out holiday insurance cover.

Meal times are pre-arranged and no allowances can be made for meals not taken. 

Rooms will be available by 2.00pm on day of arrival,  Rooms must be vacated by 10.30am on day of departure so they can be prepared for incoming guests.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

Should you or any member of your party need to cancel your chosen break once it has been confirmed, the party leader must immediately advise the hotel. If the hotel receive notice 72 hours or less before the date your break is due to commence, then you will be required to pay 100% of the cost of the accommodation.

A Word of caution

To prevent any potential loss due to cancellations we do stress the importance of taking out travel insurance to protect yourself.
Depending on the reason for cancellation, it is sometimes possible to reclaim these cancellation charges (less any applicable excess) under the terms of certain insurance policies. If you have purchased such an insurance policy and this applies to you, claims must be made directly to the insurance company concerned.

No Show Charges

All bookings are guaranteed by a credit card and late arrival. Failure to arrive will result in a no show charge being charged to your credit card up to the rack rate of the room booked i.e any shortfall in group numbers will be charged full rack rate for the stay, if the hotel is not notified with more than 72 hours notice as this will fall within the cancellation period

What if you have to cancel?

In the event you cancel your booking inside the cancellation period we will attempt to fill your room If your room cannot be filled, the hotel will debit your card with the cost of your stay less any nights your room has been filled.

What does the term "cancellation policy" mean?

This refers to the time limit in advance of arrival, before which you are entitled to cancel your booking without incurring a charge. In other words the hotel has a cancellation policy of 72 hours prior to arrival. If you cancel prior to this time, then you will not incur a charge. However if you cancel less than 72 hours prior to arrival, then a charge will be incurred

Smokers Information

Unfortunately due to the governments smoking ban we are a fully non-smoking hotel and this includes all bedrooms as well as the bar, dining room and hallways. We have been fitted with the latest fire and smoke alarm system for yours and other guests' safety.
